Launch a campaign
Set up a campaign in the Specify app, from your organization to approval.
You set up campaigns yourself in the Specify app, and we review each one before it goes live. Your first campaign is a test campaign: $1,000, with full targeting and measurement.
Before you start
Have these ready:
- The projects whose users you want. Competitors, and products your users already rely on. See Targeting.
- Your ad. A headline, body copy, a call to action, a link and images in three sizes. See Ad creatives.
- What counts as a conversion. Usually the first onchain action a new user takes, such as a first swap or deposit. If yours happens off chain, see Track conversions.
1. Create your organization
Sign up, then find your project in the list, or create a new organization if it isn't there.
Organization review
We review every new organization before its campaigns can go live, usually within 1-2 business days. You don't need to wait: set up your campaign while the review runs.

To get through quickly, fill in your organization's details completely, and make sure your website and socials show a real project.
2. Choose your audience
Start a new campaign and add the projects whose users you want to reach. The app estimates your audience size as you go.
You can also narrow the campaign to specific chains or countries. Start with 3-5 closely related projects: a focused audience converts better, and you can widen it on your next campaign.
3. Create your ad
Write the headline, body and call to action, add the link people land on, and upload your images. Add variants to test different angles: each variant is a complete ad.
The preview shows your ad on each publisher, and warns you when a variant is missing something one of them needs. See Ad creatives for specs and what converts.
4. Set your budget and dates
- Budget. Set $1,000 for the test campaign. The campaign ends when its spend reaches the budget.
- Dates. A campaign runs for at least 5 days; two weeks works well for a test. Leave a couple of business days for review before the start date.
- Billing details. Your company name and address, and who should receive invoices.
5. Submit for review
Check the summary, accept the terms and submit. Your campaign moves to In review.
Campaign review
We review every campaign before it runs, usually within 1-2 business days. We check that:
- the ad and its landing page meet the advertising policy
- your targeting suits what you want to achieve
- your conversions can be measured, including any integration you need
We often get in touch with suggestions for targeting or creative. You can keep editing the campaign while it's in review. Need it live sooner? Ask us for an expedited review.
After launch
While the campaign is live, and for the 14-day conversion window after it ends, your dashboard shows conversions as they happen. Every conversion is listed with its wallets and transactions, and you can export the list as a CSV.
When a test campaign ends, we send you a report and walk through it with you on a call. Then you decide what's next. See Test campaign.
